Divine Intervention Enriches Your Soul

First, let’s talk about wisdom. Wisdom is simply the ability to use the knowledge you have, skillfully. Scripture says if any man lacks wisdom, all you have to do is ask.

I said, “Lord, you know what I know, and I need wisdom to use what I know.” The Word of God says, “The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.” Keep in mind that scripture also says, “What you fear will actually come upon you.”

Years ago, when I was really young in the things of the Lord, my husband and I were so excited that we had received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I read in the Word of God that healing was part of the provision of salvation.

I didn’t know that before.

I thought you got saved so you could go to heaven and not go to hell. That’s part of it, but the reality is the benefit of being a redeemed person. Once I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, I began to receive gifts from God.

In 1 Corinthians 12, it says when you receive the power, the Dunamis, and the Exousia, the authority of God that comes upon you, that we are created to be able to stand in the place of Jesus Christ on earth. I know that might be controversial, but here’s what I know and what I experienced.

Compassion, a supernatural compassion, came into my life. Every time I saw somebody that was sick or oppressed, something would well up inside of me. I felt like, if I could just reach out like an extension cord of the love and the power of God, that God would use me to heal people.

The Word of God says that you are to covet, desire, seek, and practice spiritual gifts. In the wisdom of God, I asked, “Lord, how can I be a healer to the body of Christ?”

I didn’t understand it then, but God will take you where you are right now. He knows the knowledge that you have, not the knowledge that somebody else has. Even if you don’t understand or have knowledge, you are not restricted. The power of the spirit of God uses those who are willing.

I kept saying, “I just want to be the hand of God extended.” I really wanted to heal the sick. I wanted to see people set free.

In prayer time the Lord spoke to me, and He said, “I don’t need a hand, all I need is a glove. You begin to do that which is in your heart to do and begin to release me.”

All right, I’ll be a glove of God. I’ll be a body glove, and then I can put God on with my mouth. I can take off the old Adamic identification and take on Christ.

What does that look like? What does Christ do? He heals the sick, he raises the dead, he drives out demons, he preaches glad and not mad.

We become the spokesperson for God. Knowing about this healing and this deliverance, and desiring it so much in my life, I got a phone call one evening. It was a man from the Assemblies of God. At that time, my husband and I were in the Roman Catholic church, and that’s what we knew.

The man said, “Listen, I hear you pray for the sick and my wife is very, very ill. They say she’s going to die. Please come to the hospital and pray. We need a supernatural miracle.”

“You’re going to have to give me time to pray and fast,” I responded.

“Lady!” he said urgently, “Let somebody else do the fasting. You need to get on up here now! She is sick unto death. She weighs eighty pounds. She has cancer. She’s had a stroke and she’s unconscious. The doctors say there’s no hope. People are fasting all over the world; we are a corporate body of Christ. Let somebody else do your fasting right now!”

My husband and I went up to the hospital. All the friends and neighbors had gathered together to say farewell to Mrs. Thomas, who was about 58 or 59 years old. Everybody told us, “You can’t go in, she’s dying.”

We went down to the room where she was, and her husband walked in and said, “Are you the Fluitts?” After we confirmed we were, he quickly escorted us to his wife’s bedside.

We saw this emaciated woman with tubes on and in everything. Death was screaming loudly. We screamed life even louder.

Keep in mind that I didn’t know a lot and was very nervous. God isn’t looking for us to know and understand everything, he is looking for a willing vessel, an empty vessel. He’ll use the knowledge that you have and give you wisdom to use what you already have.

I knew that the Word of God says with God all things are possible. Instead of looking at Mrs. Thomas, I looked at her husband, her son, and her daughter. My husband and I walked over, I read the scripture that says, “The righteous are as bold as a lion and those that know God do exploits and to become one with him.”

In that room and in that circumstance, I knew that I was the glove of God.

What I had working for me was the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the compassion of God. As I reached my hand out to lay on her, I felt that prophetic voice of God.

What does that mean? It means that to prophesy is to allow the spirit of God to bubble up and speak out of you, to sing out of you, to shout out of you. When I laid my hands on that woman, she was more dead than alive.

Prior, I had read the scripture that says, “Clap your hands, all you people and shout unto God with a voice of triumph.”

I spoke this word over her, “When I clap my hands, you’re going to come out of this coma, cancer is going to leave your body, you’re going to be instantly restored and healed!”

My husband said, “Oh my goodness!” because I had turned and said, “Anybody that doesn’t agree with this, get out of the room!”

“Honey,” my husband said, “that was the first time I thought, maybe I need to leave.”

God recognizes the things that are going on in our hearts and in our life.

I was looking at that corpse. I clapped and said, “Listen, in the name of Jesus, come forth!”

Next, the woman came out of the bed, pulled off the tubes and everything, stood up and lived for another twenty years. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

I’m telling you with God all things are possible. I want to encourage you today to be aware that whatever is going on in your body, that there’s a healer that wants to reach you.

I’m going to pray for you. I’m going to believe for you and you’re going to believe too.

Healing, deliverance, prosperity, joy, peace, love, life is available to those who believe.

Did you know that? I didn’t know about that then. I knew how to get saved and I got saved every week. I was reared in a church that would say come forward and make a dedication or you’re going to go to hell.

I walked the aisle all the time, but I never knew that there was a possibility that I could reach out with the hand of God and be a voice to help people make a choice to agree with God.

Those of you who have been oppressed by sickness and oppressed by poverty; those who are suppressed, repressed, depressed, and possibly possessed — Hear me now! Know that there’s an antidote to the antichrist: the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Decree it, proclaim it! Say, “In the name of Jesus, be healed.” Lay your hands on yourself now and say, “I choose to believe. I choose that in wisdom I will use the knowledge that I have, skillfully. I have knowledge to believe that Jesus is the Son of God. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin named Mary. For all sin, he suffered, bled, and died on calvary’s tree. On the third day the Holy Ghost, the Lord and giver of life, raised Jesus from the dead. Now, he has taken the keys to hell, death, and the grave. He has defeated the devil and he turned around and gave the keys to the church.”

It is my desire to release power, in Jesus Christ’s holy name. Walk in the fullness of the power, the authority, and the love of God.

God has called me to be a glove for him just like he told you to touch the hurting and sick with compassion of his love. Amen
