God gave you gifts. He placed hidden treasures inside you. Have you discovered your unique talents yet? If you haven’t, it doesn’t mean you don’t have any gifts or talents. We all do.
Listen to this story. There was a woman who had never painted a picture. One day the Lord spoke to her to start a watercolor ministry. She decided to do it.
Here is a woman who had never painted before and in eight weeks, she painted fifty-two paintings. She told me that she had hidden a cross in each painting. The person who gets the painting has to find the hidden cross like a treasure. Also hidden in the watercolor painting is a Bible verse.
She said, “The most supernatural thing is that I never knew that I could paint! It never occurred to me that I could paint!”
This woman is well over fifty. She had a hidden talent in her that she didn’t know was there.
She said, “People say they feel peace when they look at my painting. They say they feel the presence of God when they look at my paintings. Dr. Clarice, I am blown away by God answering your prayer!”
When we pray, there is power! It’s not just random words. Incredible things happen when you choose to pray and believe.
I was excited and delighted when she said to me, “You prayed for me and told me to decree and declare that doors of opportunity would arise. I have no hesitation now and neither does my family. We’re walking through all of these doors and our purpose, and our destiny is being fulfilled every day. Dr. Fluitt, your prayers were answered! I now own my own painting business called Joy Works Paintings. I’ve painted 250 paintings in 12 weeks. They have sold all over the country!”
Did you hear this? This is somebody that couldn’t paint.
“God’s word is in over 120 homes across the country, because each painting that I paint I put a Bible verse and a cross in it. I’ve been in three different supernatural art shows and won the People’s Choice Award.”
What do you say? Is it time for me to pray for you that your gift be awakened? It could be singing, or painting, or dancing, or doing something that you’ve never done before.
Linda did not know that this gift was in her. She was not aware that it was there.
Linda said, “As of today, my painting business continues to flourish. I have expanded, and I became a coach and a mentor to others that are interested in painting. I teach them how to start a painting business.”
Line upon line, precept upon precept, Linda took the Word of God and activated it. The will of God was creative, and God was speaking through it.
Linda took the Word of God and she said, “Lord, I will do what you put in my heart.” She bought the paper, she bought the paint, even though she didn’t know how to paint yet.
When you are faithful in the little things, God will give you dominion over great things. That’s the promise.
You and I are standing in a place where we look and say, “Well, I can’t do this, or I don’t have the talent to do this, or I can’t do public speaking, I can’t open my mouth, I can’t do this.”
Take the “I can’t” and say, “With God all things are possible.”
I’ve talked to Miss Linda several times. She is so enthusiastic. I can see that she is coaching people who think, “I don’t know how to do this.”
She says, “Oh, that’s no problem. I’ll lay hands on you. I’ll prophesy to you.”
Linda said to me, “I’ve taken what I’ve learned from you, now I’m doing it. I don’t have to have you here.”
Look, it’s good to be replaced! It’s good that she took the words that I spoke to her.
Now, I want you to say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
God gives you the desire. Don’t get frustrated or agitated, get activated!
Right now, I will pray for you. As you read these words, agree with me in prayer. We’re going to release into the atmosphere that anointing, that unction, which will cause you to begin to move in a positive direction toward the talents, gifts, and abilities that God has so graciously placed within you.
Think about it: Wake up one day and you find that you can do something you’ve never done before.
My husband and I have been married 58 years. I have never been an individual that likes to figure things out, particularly with this incredible technology that we’re living in.
So, I bought an iPhone and he laughed about it. He said, “You’re never going to be able to do that.”
I said, “No, I’m going to find out-first of all, if I have to travel around all these young people who have their phone, I’m going to pull mine out and just start punching buttons. I’m going to find out how to do it.”
Don’t despise the days of small beginnings. I’m good at using my phone now. I have found out I can call anybody. I can just say, “Hey, Siri.”
Get yourself to wake up and discover all the abilities in you. You can do great and mighty things.
Write to me and tell me what new things you’re doing, things you didn’t know how to do before. Some of you will write and tell me that you’re making pottery or jewelry or raising puppies.
Incredible things can begin to take place. I prayed with a lady that told me she loves dogs. I said to her, “Why don’t you start a grooming place?”
She gets a truck and goes to houses grooming dogs. Many avenues of revenue can open up for you. Make a choice. Uncover your hidden treasure.
