Did you know that the carnal mind is in enmity with God? It cannot comprehend the goodness of God. It didn’t say it was hard to do, it says it cannot.
We all have these five professors, what we see, what we smell, what we speak, what we hear, and what we touch. I call it our fact-checkers. We’re always interested in fact-checkers nowadays.
Fact-checkers are carnal, and they are in opposition with the Spirit of God. They cannot comprehend spiritual things.
Don’t expect people that have not been born again to understand the spiritual aspect; they can’t. You cannot explain blue to a blind man. It’s not possible. You can pray for him that he’d get his sight and be filled with the Spirit of the living God. Then he can say, “Oh, now I see all things clearly.”
Understand that you are a spirit, you have a soul, and you live in a body. They each have a personality that is different than the other.
At the time that you receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, you are re-gened, or regenerated, and then you have a new DNA. I call it the Divine Nature Attitude.
According to the Word of God, both he that sanctifies and he that is sanctified has become one. Do you know what that means? It means, at the time of regeneration, that you’ve become a new creation, a heavenly species, and one-third of you is awakened to spiritual righteousness.
Righteousness is imputed and imparted to you. Jesus has accomplished that. Your spirit man, one-third of you, is now in sinless perfection. You have a soul, and in that soul is your intellect, your reason, and your emotion.
Listen, this is the sighting of everything. This is the voting chamber of everything that’s in the soul realm because the carnal mind is at enmity with God. It’s never going to understand the things of God.
The soul (your intellect, reason, and emotion) is being transformed through the renewing of your mind, through the washing of the water of the Word.
We can say that your spirit man was like the king, and your king needs a queen. And your queen is like the soul. But your body, those five professors that are carnal, that are in opposition with God, that don’t understand God, are led by natural information.
Did you know that when a baby is born, he’s as human as he’s ever going to get? He’s not going to get progressively more human. He’s not going to turn into a monkey, because he acts like one. What he does will not change his nature.
When you’re born again, and you’re born of the Spirit of God, immature is not impure, and weak is not wicked.
Be aware of the way you hear a thing.
You may need to say, “Wait a minute, hold on. Possibly, I need to get my words a little straighter. Maybe the way I’ve been hearing things, and where I get my feelings hurt, and I get oppressed, and I get lonely, and I get all these negative feelings. Possibly that’s not in alignment with the Word of God. Possibly it’s not.”
You have the power to change.
Remember that you are a spirit, you have a soul, and you live in a body. Your soul, we’ll call her the queen, is making decisions. Ask yourself, “Am I going to agree with the Adamic nature? Or am I going to agree with the new nature?”
Most of us have been under the tutelage of the servant for a long time of what things look like, smell like, taste like, feel like, all those facts coming in. It’s wonderful when facts and truth are the same thing, but it’s not always the same.
We hear a lot of facts that come out. There is a difference between facts and truth.
I release into the atmosphere wisdom and the ability to use knowledge skillfully.
Right now, I pray over you healing, deliverance, and prosperity. That’s the prayer of salvation.
Be filled with the Spirit of the living God. It will help you not to take words apart from the spirit with what people say. It’ll help keep you alert and alive.
With the aid of God’s grace, I release into the atmosphere, the revelation of Sonship and adoption. I release into the atmosphere the healing balm of Gilead.
In Jesus name, I decree to you, from the top of your head to the soles of your feet, the power of the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of life. Inundate every cell of your body, that you become healed, and any oppression from demonic activity, you be delivered from it.
Any and all things that are attaching itself to try to keep you in poverty, I smite it with the name of Jesus, and the blood of the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sins of the world.
My prayer for you, beloved, is that the words of my mouth, and the words that I have spoken today, will cause you to go to the Word of God and say, “Where did she get that?”
My job is to decree it, to proclaim it, to establish it, and to create a hunger in your heart to say, “Let me see there, I can have power over the words that I speak, and I can release things that are alive and things that are going to build people up. I can create with the fruit of my lips.”
Beloved, you have the power. You have the authority if you choose to. You can change the world. That’s what you are, you’re a world changer.
Whatever is in your heart that you’re believing God for, I agree and believe with you.
Decide today that those words that have been sticking in your craw, where you’ve been upset with somebody and possibly misunderstood that you can grant a little grace. Choose to forgive those people that have said harsh and hard things.
Forgive yourself.
Just say, “You know what? I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. I am ready to see something fresh upon the face of this Earth, and it’s going to begin with me.”
Can you believe for such a thing? I believe we can. I believe we just did.
Don’t let that old fact-checker be the one to make decisions in your life anymore. Come to a place of decision. Decision doesn’t mean conversion, but until you make a decision, no conversion is going to take place.
Actively listen. Speak and edify with intention. Your words will impact and change lives.
